Western Winter Speaker Series--Dr. David J. Rothman
The Extended Studies Department at Western is pleased to announce a partnership with the Crested Butte Heritage Museum for a Winter Speaker Series. Our first speaker is David J. Rothman, who will talk about the early days of skiing in Crested Butte. Dr. Rothman is the Director of the Graduate Program in Creative Writing at Western State Colorado University, where he designed the Poetry Concentration, which he also directs and in which he teaches. Dr. Rothman is a former NCAA Div. I alpine ski racer who writes regularly about skiing and mountain towns. The lecture series is a private event. If you are interested in attending, please click here to send your RSVP to the Extended Studies office at Western. It is $10 per person to attend each special event. Because this is a private event, no walk-ins will be accepted at the door. Seating is limited so please RSVP early to reserve your spot. Doors will open at 7pm with a cash bar available. The lecture beginning at 7:30pm.
