West Elk Bicycle Classic

The West Elk Bicycle Classic is a fundraiser for Western State Colorado University Mountain Sports, Sharon's Kids of Paonia/Crawford and Bicycle Colorado. It is a mass start timed event or gran fondo. At 7am the ride leaves Gunnison to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, the towns of Crawford and Paonia before climbing back over the 25mi dirt Kebler pass to finish in Crested Butte. What's included? A great time. The least traveled and most beautiful roads in the state, epic challenge, full support in the form of SAG, Aids, mechanical, medical, finish party with food and beer in Crested Butte finishers medal (under 11hr or under 8hr) custom pint glass.
