Enter into the DIY world of fabric wonder. Learn proper use of sewing machines and/or continue to build on your own basic sewing skills. Laura covers all you need to know about sewing, including threading the machine, mechanical procedures, proper tension, and basic stitches. She shares tons of tips and tricks that make sewing both fun and rewarding. Returning students pick up where they left off and launch into their next sewing project. Newbies can pick a simpler starter project – an easy pillow cover, tote bag, skirt, or apron, while veterans can pick their next pattern to bring to class. Students need a sewing machine (with the instruction manual and bobbins that fit that particular machine) thread, fabric, and scissors. Do not let that machine sit there unused another minute!
