Readers in the Rockies

Cindy Myers will be speaking about and reading from her latest book, The View from Here, which won the Colorado Book Award for Genre Fiction. The book is a heartfelt novel about Maggie Carter, a woman who has nothing left to lose, yet finds the courage to start over in the last place she ever expected. Cindy has also written more than 49 other published novels. Her historical and contemporary romances and women?s fiction have garnered praise from reviewers and readers alike. In 2010, The Right Mr Wrong, set in Crested Butte, Colorado, was named Best American Romance by Romantic Times Book Review. When she's not writing, Cindy enjoys skiing, hiking, gardening, knitting, quilting and of course, reading. She lives in the mountains of Colorado with her husband and two spoiled dogs. Myers will be selling and signing copies of The View from Here after the presentation.The event is sponsored by the Readers in the Rockies and the Crested Butte Friends of the Library.
