Living Journeys Summit Hike & Synergy Half Marathon

Living Journeys is proud to present the Summit Hike and Synergy Athlete Half Marathon happening at Crested Butte Mountain Resort on July 23rd, 2016.  This year will be the 17th year that visitors and locals climb together to the summit of Crested Butte Mountain in honor, memory and in support of the people in their lives that have faced cancer.   The Synergy Athlete half marathon is a supreme trail run that is part of the Eddyline Brewing Trail Running Series and the Trail Runner Trophy Series.

Together these two great events raise critical funds to support Living Journeys’ mission to provide financial assistance, emotional support and enrichment programs to Gunnison Valley residents affected by cancer.  

Join us on Saturday, July 23rd to hike, race or ride.   Hikers can start as early as at 7 a.m., racers start at 8:30 a.m., and lifts open for riders at 8:30 a.m.   Details for both events can be found online at www.livingjourneys.org under the events tab.   Register early and save!  Registration fees will increase after June 26th!

In 2015, hikers and racers raise over $30,000 for Living Journeys through their own efforts to raise online pledges.  These efforts are so important to Living Journeys.  This year we will be offering prize packages to the top 3 individual fundraisers to help Living Journeys reach its goal of raising $35,000.  The awesome prize packages will be announced at the end of May!  Details on how to start fundraising today can be found under the events at www.livingjourneys.org.
