Flora and History of Cement Mountain Tour

As part of the 2016 Crested Butte Wildflower Festival,  Glo Cunningham will lead an entertaining meander around the historical Pioneer Guest Cabins at the base of Cement Mountain. This beautiful setting is home to the first ski lift built in Colorado in 1939 and has an interesting past. Red Columbine and the Calypso Orchid (aka "Fairy Slipper") are frequently spotted in the dense evergreen forest surrounding the cabins. Sign up on the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival website!
