About Us

Since its inception in 1999 as a grass roots non-profit organization, Living Journeys has provided direct support to Gunnison Valley residents who are struggling with cancer. Our mission is to ensure that no one in Gunnison County has to fight cancer alone. This support can be in the form of direct financial grants to help offset the expense of medical bills and travel related to cancer treatment or financial assistance to pay ordinary living expenses such as rent and food when the cancer lessons the ability of the patient to work full-time. Living Journeys also provides emotional support by supplying individual and group counseling sessions to those affected by cancer or their families.
